Sakata is not all you can eat. I don't think we have AYCE sushi near downtown - you'll need to go either north to Oxford & Wonderland area (168 or Heart) or south to Wellington by White Oaks Mall (168 ' s other location)
Yes there is. The food there is awesome.
I was told that the Sakata Ramen had closed permanently and possibly relocated. If you are really wanting to know, it is best if you call the staff at the restaurant.

Loved it. My husband and I go to London for their great restaurants. This one is exceptional. The chicken was so flavorful. The price of a meal with sake was about 40 bucks.service is awesome
This is a real ramen place ! It's hard to find good ramen in London, Ontario. But definitely this place nailed! They also have delicious sushi, but the washroom are in a bad condition, the should remodel that portion of the restaurant! Overall a good ramen restaurant!
Amazing Ramen noodles and sushi. Great location with patio in London downtown.
Nice place.Ramen and Udon are perfect
Reasonably priced, cozy atmosphere, and pretty good ramen. The skewers as well as the desserts are delicious.
Had a most excellent lunch. Started with duck and pork belly skewers, then we had Miso Tonkotsu Ramen and Miso Chicken Ramen. Both were excellent and very filling.Service was wonderful! Will definitely be returning!!!
Hands down best udon I've had in London. The noodles are so bouncy and the broth is really good. The tempura is not very crispy though, it's more like breaded. Still crispy but not really. Tastes good though!
First of all the staff was so friendly and kind. Restaraunt was very clean and cozy. The food was DELICIOUS. Ordered the green dragon roll and the ingredients were all so fresh and tasty. The sushi is big and very filling! Best sushi I have had in years! (Maybe ever). Highly recommend!
This place will not disappoint you.. the price that you pay for is what you will get the sushi is delicious. The ramen broth is on point as well? Try the spicy ramen so it has a little bit of a kick. Over all I highly recommend this place.
The food is good! 🤤 need to come back again. Although the ipad thing is confusing for us lol
Food is good! Fairly priced. Maybe difficult parking.
Karaage as an app was great. The main course of ramen was very bland and unimpressive. The noodles were overcooked and the whole dish ruined my stomach for the rest of the day. Much to improve upon here.
Hands down, best Japanese restaurant in London. Incredible selection of dishes, and I like their iPad method if ordering too. Although, the menu could do with a bit more information about the dishes. If you're interested in trying something different, try Takoyaki!
By far my favourite sushi in London. Out of the many sushi places I've been to, Sakata has beyond the best quality sushi and the friendliest staff. I take everyone here that I want to introduce to sushi and they're never disappointed
Was a great restraunt, clean and simple. Great service, friendly and explained the ordering process well. The price is great for the amount and quality of ramen. The one thing that could use tending is the menu picture for spring rolls shows 6, but you get 4. As a visual type person, I like ordering based of picture. I would totally recomend this place to anyone either a solo lunch or a dinner date or a small group of friends. Damn near perfect lunch experience.
Truly one of my favourite places. I enjoy stopping for appetizers and Asahi beer. The staff are Chinese. Respectful, & help out with pairing suggestions when I want something new. Very friendly. This place is a must visit!
I've only been a couple of times over the last few years, but the quality of the food and service has not dropped one iota. Fantastic sushi and hot dishes. Definitely a little more pricey than average, but it's not unreasonable and certainly worth it for a special occasion.I've recommended this place to friends and co-workers and would certainly suggest it to anyone who is on the fence about a visit. Excellent!
Okay ramen. We "Skip the Dishes" our order from here.👍🏽 quick service. Food was at our hotel in 30 minutes.👎🏽 food was *just* okay. Prices are way too high for the small portions
Honestly do not come here !!! SUCH A WASTE OF MONEY. everything was insanely overpriced it was shocking and the service was not just unfriendly but actively rude.
Location was interesting and comfortable. Ramen wasn't the best I have had but it was good. Would go again.
Always great and friendly service when I come here. The ramen doesn't compare to the joints in Toronto or Vancouver of course but it is decent and the best in London so far. Their Sakata roll is amazing, although expensive.
One of the best places for sushi in London. Wish it was open later. The ramen is okay. Great service and atmosphere
Absolutely phenomenal, lovely small place with a cozy, quiet atmosphere, polite and courteous service, and the bedt rsmen I've ever had. I got the chicken miso black garlic ramen, which while overwhelmingly rich near the end of the meal, was still a hearty, generous and filling bowl of real ramen. For the prices asked I can't say you'll find better.
The spicy tonkatsu ramen is the best ramen I've ever had! The sushi is always fresh and delicious!
Affordable menu, great atmosphere, tasty food - went there to eat solo and there was two other people doing the same, was lovely!
Amazing food and great staff
Very good taste and extremely high experience of Japan's food thx sakata 😉
Amazing meal with excellent service!
Been coming to Sakata for over 5 years and it has consistently been one of the best ramen joints in London. Though the price is at times more on the upper end, the quality and flavour of food has always been pretty consistent on the good side. I favourite and most recommended food will always be the tonkotsu ramen and the black dragon roll.
The best Ramen in town period.
I ordered their tonkotsu ramen, chicken karaage, and steamed rice for delivery, everything tasted delicious and the way they packaged the food shows they really care how it arrives to you.
I've been here several times over the last few years and I can honestly say it's the best place in the city for good bbq eel. Both the Eel Don and the Black dragon roll are fantastic and very much worth the price.
Nice cozy place to eat with your friends and family, with tasty food to eat.
Busy little restaurant, very great selection. If you dont like crowds they offer delivery through Uber and most other third delivery platforms.
Good and gentle service , excellent food. Spring roll crispy and hot 👍🏼, Black Garlic Chicken Ramen huge and my Red Dragon Rolls 8pcs was so good , high quality. The place so quiet.
I thought it was a really nice place. Been here twice, both times pleasant. I didn't have any problems though that's a good thing. The waiter actually helped me figure out how to use the chopsticks, which was a giant benefit. I would give a huuuge tip but I still have to maintain my budget, over all it was amazing.
Amazing Ramen. Definitely rivaled the amazing ramen I had in Toronto. Staff is very friendly, ambiance is great, reasonable pricing, great service. Did I mention the ramen was great?
Been going here for around 3 years now. Don't usually eat there, but when I have the service has been pretty good. One of my favourite sushi spots in London.
The sushi was very fresh when I ordered from Uber eats and I am very happy to have found a good sushi place downtown London. I am looking forward to trying their ramen in the future. Also, their prices are very reasonable for sushi especially considering how good the quality was.
Absolutely delicious! Very intimate dining area and not too expensive, especially considering the high quality of the food!
Really good ramen. Fresh noodles and a flavourful broth. Next time I’ll check out the sushi.
Food is always fresh and yummy when I order delivery! I usually get a few skewers (chicken, lamb, beef) and the spicy chicken ramen. Would definitely recommend!
Excellent food, good service, clean restaurant. The food quality is consistent with the other Sakata location. My Japanese friends consider their ramen pretty good compare to what they have in Japan.
Seafood soup, sushi, salad - everything was super tasty! Thanks you!
Best ramen in London. Best black dragon roll I've ever had from anywhere.
I went to this location and ordered the Beef Curry Don as well as the black dragon roll, and sake which was just over $50. Everything was fine until I began eating the beef where I found weird bonelike materials in my food. I called for the server and explained to her that I found some kind of bone in my food. It was quite hard on my teeth. She said that was impossible and she walked away without asking if I wanted new beef, a different meal, or anything else. She did not apologize or anything. I did ask for a manager and she said there were none on the floor and told me to come back the next day. All I wanted was an apology and an offer for a different meal, because I found weird stuff in my beef and she disregarded it. The other food was alright but the service I received from my server was very poor.
Been looking for a place that serves Uni(Sea Urchin) finally found one in London, ON.The place is clean.Service is quick.Food is 5/5.
I've always had amazing experiences here and I think it really comes down to the caring staff. The food is always amazing, I also have a full glass of water, and someone is always around to make sure the table is doing well. Really cozy atmosphere for dine in meals and ordering out has just as much care put into the food to make sure it's perfect when you finally eat it. Can't recommend this place enough, best ramen I've ever had and the variety is just awesome.
Fantastic ramen! Service is a bit slow if it's really busy but the food they serve is really worth it. Their black garlic ramen is delicious and filling. Perfect for a cold day!
